Updated based on HCRIS at cutoff 09/30/2020. The most recent cost reporting periods being reported for active hospitals are now:
On Cost Center related worksheets (A, B series , C and some D series) lines 88 - Rural Health Clinic, line 89 - Federally Qualified
Health Centers, 101 - Home Health Agencies and 116 - Hospice had previously been reported rolled up to a line level total, even though
occasionally multiple of these clinics or agencies existed. The individual clinic/agencies are now detailed as sublines and identified
by name and CCN of each as listed on S-2 Part I.
Updated based on HCRIS at cutoff 12/31/2019. The most recent cost reporting periods being reported for active hospitals are now:
This update includes the new 2552-10 worksheets that were not available in our prior update on November 12, 2012. The implementation of these new formats was delayed for some worksheets because of ambiguities in the assignment of some cost centers. Beginning with today's update ambiguities have been resolved by overriding some cost center assignments as submitted by a hospital. Whenever a cost center has been overridden you will see an explanation at the top of all affected worksheets.
IF YOU PURCHASED A SINGLE COST REPORT IN THE 2552-10 FORMAT AFTER OUR
NOVEMBER 12, 2012 UPDATE please note that your account now reflects an
expiration date of February 26, 2013 for the purchase. This will enable you
to access the new 2552-10 format for all worksheets.
Updated based on HCRIS at cutoff 6/30/2012. The most recent cost reporting periods being reported for active hospitals are now:
Because the new 2552-10 format is
based on a new nomenclature in lieu of cost centers, it has proven
difficult to reliably categorize detailed costs by cost center for
worksheets A, B part I, B part II, B-1, C part I, D part I, D part II,
D part II, D part IV, D part V and D-3. We are working diligently on a
process for reporting by cost center but decided it would be best to go
ahead and make all uneffected worksheets available now while we
finalize the effort.

There is a noticeable decrease in the number of cost reports updated as

this decrease is due to delays caused by the implementation of new cost
